well thats about it im looking at doing the around australia trip and i have a 2.8l turbo diesel nissan patrol with diesel chip and 3inch exaust and the question that is bothering me is do i take 2 quad bikes alone with us that would come in around 400kg for just bikes and gear, plus trailer that i would build custom that would be 2000×2400 and have a box under bikes for storage that would be about 500high and and would be close to 450kg 850kg with out any camping gear cooking gear etc we would sleep in the back of the patrol or in a tent, of
do i leave the bikes at home and build a camper trailer that would only be like 450kg and give us a lot more comfy trip and a lot more room to store everything and leave the car free for fridges, water tanks, cloths, food etc etc, or
3rd option sell patrol and chase a gu 4.2td coil cab and take both bikes and the camper trailer might be a bit heavy tho
and y i have u all here how much do u think that the trip would cost first time doing the trip and hopefully wont be the last we are both 22 will be looking at doing the trip for about 6months and a lot of camping in bush etc rather then caravan parks etc im thinking maybe 50 a day in fuel 30 in food plus couple 1000 in case of brakages etc

I did work on a boat and stored it now for almost 7 years, this was all based off an oral agreement with a friend. Now the friend is in trouble and the boat is about to be repossessed an he just wants me to hand it over. I want to be paid for my time, work, storage, etc. How do I file a lien so that I get paid too. (I understand any answers are not true legal advice)

I'm not a lawyer, however I do know that a mechanic's lien is part of the repair contract and is signed by the customer BEFORE any repairs are done. Looks like you're out of luck.

My husband wrecked his car and he didn't have insureance. He took it to a repair shop and the man told him he could leave it there for however longwe need, while we get money to pay for it. Well the man is now saying if we don't pay $1000 by noon tomorrow he is going auction off our car,plus $3,000 for storage. And the car isn't even fully paid for. PLEASE HELP!!! SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY!!!!!!

What there any agreement in writing? Was there a stated price for storage? Were you notified that they had waited long enough and to either arrange to pay for repairs or get it out of there?

If you authorized for the car to be repaired, then storage charges should only begin after the repair is done, the owner notified to pay the charges and pick the thing up, and a reasonable time allowed (maybe only a day), for you to do so.

In any case he cannot legally dispose of your car without following certain procedures. If you have the means to haul or tow it away, then first thing tomorow morning, get a police officer to go with you to claim your property. You will not be asking the officer to get the car for you. He/She will be there to keep the peace and wittness. You may or may not actually get to take it away, but make sure the officer sees and hears all that goes on. Good Luck.

I use photobucket but even if you make it private others can still view photos if they type it in the search engine. I need to know if there are websites where only you can view your pics and no one else.

PICASA from google, and Yahoo Flickr are the best options for you, You have the choice of making your photos unavailable to others…

I think you'll find that most storage units prohibit the housing of animals on the premises as the terms of the rental contract.

I would recommend using www.comparethestorage.com I got all the prices in my local area and was really easy to use, it even included all of the small stores not just the likes of safestore, big yellow and storage king etc. Give it a go…!

Essential supplies to stock up on while you still can. Anything can happen in these uncertain times. It’ll happen when you least expect it, and you’ll need to be prepared. Natural disasters, Martial law, Economic Society Collapse, Domestic terrorism are just some of the things that can happen. This shows some of the cheaper supply options. There are some pretty good alternative options if your willing to spend the extra money. MREs have at least a 5 year shelf-life. Also a water filter would be great. I tried to add as much info as I could, and the video still went over 10 minutes. There may be a few items missing(garden seeds, vitamins, over the counter and prescription medicines, toilet paper, tampons, ect.). Also there are items that only pertain to your situation. Thanks.
