What are the cheapest freight/post options within Australia?

I need to send several boxes and a (quite heavy) massage table etc from Brisbane to rural Victoria for storage. It doesn’t matter if they take a while to get there! Just wondering if anyone can suggest some options. Thanks.
Definitely use Australia Post, I have worked in a freight company and they either don’t offer to once of users, as they require you to open an account or they expect you to pay more. Australia Post has proven itself to be quiet reliable for sending goods.

Some furniture removalists do backloads and you mights be able to get a deal with them. I have seen them advertising in the newspaper sometimes and know of someone who did it from country qld to sydney.
