my car in storage wont start?
i put my car in storage for the winter. it has been put up in my garage for a month. i tried to start is and it will not start. any ideas why? it will rank, just not start.
Did you put some gas stabilizer in the tank ?? If not, the gas in the engine has probably evaporated. If it’s time to start it up, put in some fresh gas and hook-up a battery charger, because you’ll have to get fresh gas into the engine.
How can i keep my brand new car well maintained in storage?
I live in illinois. in april i’m buying a new car. It will be driven for two weeks and then stored, for 3 or 4 months.
What can i do to make sure this storage goes well for my car?
Things you should do;
1. clean first your car properly from the exterior to exterior so when you come back, it will still be clean
2. you have to ask somebody to start it for you, (open a/c) so to keep your battery and fluids working. it will avoid your battery from draining.
3. if there is nobody to start it for you, disconnect your battery to avoid draining
4. if possible park it in a covered garage with a car cover to avoid dust to build up in your car and also to avoid from scratches.
5. Make sure to put a lot gas if possible full tank it to avoid damage to your fuel pump.
Your car is new, there is nothing much to worry except your battery getting drain. Hope this helps!
If I rent space in my garage for car storage will this affect my home insurance?
If I am renting out several spaces for people to store their cars, will this increase my insurance and do I even have to let my insurance know? Should I make it mandatory that the car owners have insurance on their vehicle?
Also since I work a seasonal job and occasionally collect EI would this extra income affect my EI.

does anyone know if your car gets inpounded and you dont pay the storage fee what would happen?
for example my car got stolen and crashed and its totalled so i signed the pink over to the tow yard. but now there saying if i dont pay the storage fee it will go on my credit is that true?
Yes, you owe the storage charge. If you do not pay, there will come a time when the car is sold as scrap, and likely there will still be a balance owed. If you don’t have comprehensive insurance and the car is totalled, why don’t you junk the car and have done with it?
