Bleach will probably harm the bags, not sure if vinegar could, but I do know the degreaser has saved many of my items stored in my basement, clothes, bags, anything that is somewhat washable. It has even ENTIRELY removed and saved some of my favorite clothing, by even removing the entire stain. It doesn't just kill the mold and mildew, it removes everything. However, if it has actually eaten away the bag or material, nothing can restore it.<br><b>References : </b><br>Personal experience, with numerous floody basements, and seepage that wasn't caught right away. This will alos stop the odor.
